In 1996, Fatmir Hanxhari founded Hanxhari Group, delivering the first modern residential developments in Vlora, at a time when the city was still a blank canvas. What is today one of Albania’s most dynamic tourism destinations was then defined by potential rather than certainty.
From the very beginning, Hanxhari Group built not only for the present, but for the future it foresaw. Each project carried a sense of responsibility — toward the city, its people, and the generations that would follow — shaping Vlora’s urban identity long before its transformation fully emerged.
Vlora International, the first large modern hotel in southern Albania with 80 rooms, opened. The project contributed to developing tourism in the city and established Vlora as a coastal destination.
Hanxhari Beton and Hanxhari Inerte started operations in Orikum and Vlora. With a production capacity of 120 m³/hour, the group supplied concrete, aggregates, and construction materials, controlling every stage of development to ensure quality and efficiency.
The three iconic buildings at the heart of Vlora form a vibrant hub of residences, shops, restaurants, and bars, shaping the city’s central boulevard. They combine urban living with commercial activity and have become a landmark of the city centre, creating a central gathering place that reflects Vlora’s culture, energy, and growth.
Vlora Centre II is a modern addition of three buildings to Vlora’s emerging seaside city centre. With a mix of residential and commercial spaces, it supports the growing urban fabric and helps connect the city core to the seaside promenade.
Completed in 2019, Vlora Centre III is a landmark development that defines the cityscape. This mixed-use complex blends residential and commercial spaces in a prime location, linking the heart of the city with the promenade. Designed for modern living, it offers easy access to shops, dining, and leisure while maintaining a strong connection to Vlora’s coastal identity. Vlora Centre III represents the modern evolution of Hanxhari Group’s urban vision, merging tradition, lifestyle, and contemporary design in one iconic project.
Following years of shaping Vlora’s coastal identity, Hanxhari Group began Poseidon Residences, a landmark on the Lungomare. The project transforms the waterfront into a destination for modern living, combining architecture, lifestyle, and urban presence. It reflects a continued commitment to building with vision, for a city and coastline that continue to evolve.
